Socceroos super sub Daniel Arzani's stunning World Cup stat

The young gun is proving just how dangerous he is

He's the youngest player at the 2018 World Cup and the stats suggest Socceroos attacker Daniel Arzani is also one of the most dangerous in Russia.

Two brief cameos off the bench have seen the 19-year-old wreak havoc against both France and Denmark.

While calls have inevitably increased for Arzani to start against Peru, he has proven his effectiveness as a substitute by creating the most chances per minute of any player in the tournament that's played at least 10 minutes.

Though his lack of minutes and the fact he has come on late has inevitably helped secure top spot, Arzani's ability to create something out of nothing simply can't be questioned.

Arzani came to prominence in the A-League with Melbourne City starting as a substitute before eventually earning a starting spot under Warren Joyce.

A lack of fitness saw the teenager struggle somewhat as a starter and Socceroos coach Bert van Marwijk will no doubt be weighing up his options as to whether to put Arzani into his starting 11 against Peru.

As the stats back up, Arzani has impressed when given the chance in Russia with clubs including Juventus reportedly circling the talented winger as a result.
