Cutest football video ever? Dogs as mascots in Chilean league match

Players are traditionally led out by young children but a number of canines took on the role instead as Colo Colo clashed with Antofagasta

A fan of both football AND dogs?! Well you're in luck...

Players are traditionally led out onto football pitches by young children in near enough every competition in the world, but not in the Chilean Primera Division encounter between Colo Colo and Antofagasta.

Yeah, that's right. Canines - of all shapes, sizes and breeds - took on the role instead as they gave the Colo Colo starting eleven an interesting, yet very, very cute, escort.

The match struggled to live up to the excitement in the pre-match entertainment, however, as it ended 0-0 at the Estadio Monumental David Arellano.

Are we seeing the future of football right here? Who knows...
