Crystal Palace’s Wilfried Zaha buzzing after Stoke City win

Wilfried Zaha is excited with Crystal Palace’s 2-1 victory over Stoke City in Saturday’s English Premier League encounter.

Roy Hodgson’s men who sit at the bottom of the league table, coming off their 2-2 draw against Everton in their last top-flight outing, fought back from a goal deficit to grab maximum points against the Potters.

After a goalless first half, Xherdan Shaqiri opened the scoring in the 53rd minute to put Mark Hughes’ men ahead.

Three minutes later, Ruben Loftus-Cheek drew the Eagles level before Mamadou Sakho’s injury time strike earned the hosts their first league win since October 14, against Chelsea.

And Zaha who was on parade for the entire duration, is delighted with the victory and praised the summer signings for their first goals for the Selhurst Park outfit.

“That’s more like it! Buzzing to get the 3 points. Congrats to @rubey_lcheek & @mamadousakho on your 1st goals for Palace #CPFC,” Zaha wrote on Instagram.

The Cote d’Ivoire international who has notched three goals in seven Premier League games this campaign will be hoping to help Crystal Palace in their relegation battle when they visit Brighton and Hove Albion for Tuesday’s Premier League clash.
