Crystal Palace’s De Boer unsure of Wilfried Zaha's return from injury

The Eagles handler is uncertain of when the Ivory Coast international will return to action

Crystal Palace boss Frank De Boer is unsure of Wilfried Zaha’s return from knee injury, but confirmed his rehabilitation is underway.

The Ivory Coast forward suffered a knee injury in his side’s season opening loss to Huddersfield Town and missed out in their 2-0 defeat to Liverpool.

“Wilf is a very robust player and the first couple of days is very important to have some rest,” De Boer told club’s website.

“From now on he’s going to start his rehab, but we don’t know how long it’s going to take.

“The risk is that you start too early and that he has a setback, so I don’t want to put a time on it right now.”

Zaha could miss his second league game this season when the Eagles welcome Swansea City to the Selhurst Park on Saturday.
