Confluence Queens’ Tobi Olarenwaju thankful after near-death experience

The Equatorial Guinea international used social media to express her gratitude after cheating death during a league game on Wednesday

Conference Queens captain Tobi Olarenwaju is appreciative to be alive after slumping during her side’s 0-0 draw versus Saadatu Amazon in a Nigeria Women topflight game.

The defender collapsed twice after she was hit on her chest in the second half of the fierce encounter – and with quick intervention from medics, danger was averted.

And Olarenwaju used social media to express her gratitude for miraculously cheating death.

''Got hit in the chest during the match, fainted twice on d pitch, rushed to an emergency room unconsciously, three x-ray performed immediately but nothing went wrong because your mighty hand kept me,’’ she wrote on Facebook.
