Chuba Akpom leaves boyhood club Arsenal to join PAOK

Chuba Akpom has left Arsenal for Greek Super League side PAOK Salonika in a permanent move, on a three-year deal.

The 22-year-old’s move to Belgium brought six goals in 16 games last season, with the Belgian outfit among a number of clubs circling for his signature, but the Greek side will now have the England-born Nigerian in their ranks.

The striker, also adept at playing on the flanks, made 12 first team appearance for the North London outfit. His deal is subject to the completion of regulatory processes.
