Chemelil Sugar have parted ways with head coach, Abdallah Juma.
Juma was served with his dismissal letter on Monday according to an insider who spoke to Goal.
“He picked his (dismissal) letter yesterday (Monday),” said our source who did not want to be named.
The former KCB coach guided Chemelil to a 14th place finish in a tough season for the Millers that was characterized by delayed salaries, players boycotting training and intimidation from the management.
Chemelil Sugar have since identified two candidates as Juma’s replacement.
Mike Mururi has been linked with a return to the Sugarbelt, having left the side for a stint at Kakamega Homeboyz.
Another potential target is Muhoroni Youth’s James ‘Odijo’ Omondi.
Omondi is seen as the most likely candidate for a job that dangles the carrot of top flight football after Muhoroni were relegated to the National Super League.
Juma joined Chemelil last January from Bidco United having taken over from Francis Baraza who moved to Tusker as Assistant Coach.
