Chelsea team news: Morata and Hazard lead the line again versus Leicester

Alvaro Morata and Eden Hazard will once again lead Chelsea in pursuit of goals during a Premier League home date with Leicester.

The Blues drew a blank in their last outing, as they were held to a goalless draw by Arsenal in the first leg of their Carabao Cup semi-final.

Antonio Conte has, however, kept faith with the majority of those to have been contained by the Gunners.

Conte’s side have actually played out successive 0-0 stalemates, with their battle against Arsenal coming on the back of a tie against Norwich in the FA Cup third round.

Chelsea really need to rediscover their spark against Leicester, with Morata especially in need of a boost.

The Spanish frontman has gone four games without finding the target, while Hazard has only one effort to his name in his last nine outings.

While they will be hoping to cause havoc in the final third, Gary Cahill has been drafted back in to a defensive unit seeking to keep the Foxes out.

Elsewhere in the matchday squad, Michy Batshuayi makes the bench amid intense speculation surrounding his future and a possible loan move to Sevilla.

Chelsea starting XI: Courtois; Azpilicueta, Cahill, Rudiger; Moses, Bakayoko, Kante, Fabregas, Alonso; Hazard, Morata.

Subs: Caballero, Christensen, Luiz, Zappacosta, Willian, Pedro, Batshuayi.

Leicester City starting XI: Schmeichel, Amartey, Dragovic, Maguire, Chilwell, Mahrez, James, Ndidi, Albrighton, Okazaki, Vardy.
