Chelsea Team news: Injuries, suspensions and line-up vs Bournemouth

Chelsea have had the perfect start to their season with three wins in their last three games as they prepare to take on Bournemouth on Saturday at Stamford Bridge.

The Blues went through a summer of turbulence but Maurizio Sarri is quickly getting to grips with English football, despite joining a week into his club's pre-season.

Eddie Howe is the longest-serving Premier League manager and his Bournemouth side are undefeated this season, with two wins and a draw from their three games.

Chelsea injuries

Cesc Fabregas is still a major doubt as he recovers from what Sarri describes as an 'unusual injury' from just below his knee.

The Spaniard was missing from the club's training sessions this week, as he was injured in a pre-season game against Arsenal last month.

All of Chelsea's other first-team players are fit and have trained this week. PSV loan star Marco van Ginkel is back at Chelsea, but he has torn his anterior cruciate ligament and is unlikely to play any part this season.

Chelsea have no suspensions to contend with ahead of kick off.

Chelsea potential starting line-up

Sarri has quickly implemented his methods to secure three wins in his last three games, but he will have small details he would like to see improved.

His selection against Newcastle last week looks like his favoured one, in terms of both personnel and formation. The 4-3-3 system is one he has carried over from Napoli, with Jorginho coming over with his manager to play for the west London club.

Eden Hazard started his first game of the season last weekend and put in a strong performance as he completed the 90 minutes, while Mateo Kovacic made his first start since joining on loan from Real Madrid, ousting Ross Barkley in midfield.

Both Hazard and Kovacic keep their place for Saturday's game, as Willian is the only new face from last week - replacing Spanish winger Pedro.

Chelsea XI: Kepa: Azpilicueta, Luiz, Rudiger, Alonso, Jorginho, Kante, Kovacic, Willian, Hazard, Morata.

Subs: Caballero, Christensen, Zappacosta, Pedro, Loftus-Cheek, Barkley, Giroud.
