CHAN Eagles trio return for Plateau United's Caf Champions League tie

The Peace Boys have received the returning silver-winning Super Eagles trio back to their fold ahead of their clash with Eding Sports this weekend

Nigeria B trio of Dele Ajiboye, Daniel Itodo and Peter Eneji have joined Plateau United ahead of their Caf Champions League campaign this week.

Ajiboye, Itodo and Eneji helped the Super Eagles B to a second-place finish at the just concluded African Nations Championship won by hosts Morocco last Sunday.

The Nigerian champions will kick off their continental campaign as they host their Eding Sports counterparts from Cameroon in Sunday's preliminary round clash in Jos.

For the course, the trio shelved their break to rejoin the Peace Boys as Kennedy Boboye's men are hoping to make a winning start in their debut top tier continental campaign.

"We (CHAN Eagles) returned on Tuesday from Morocco and we have joined the team in Jos. We decided against not going on break or holiday," Itodo told Goal.

"Personally, I'm better and fully ready to help my team. We are likely to begin training with the team on Wednesday ahead of our Caf Champions League match on Sunday.

"We want to be part of the team's game against Eding Sports and we're eager to play for Plateau again this season since we've missed some few games."
