Exclusive: The Congolese side couldn't reach Kumasi on time but their manager is confident they will upset the Porcupine Warriors

CARA Brazzaville coach Roger Elli Ociate says they are fully prepared to defeat Asante Kotoko in the first leg of the Caf Confederation Cup preliminary round at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium on Sunday.

The Congolese side arrived in Accra, Ghana on Thursday with a 17-man contingent but couldn't travel to Kumasi due to unavailability of flight. Eight additional members including players joined them on Friday and touched down at the Kumasi airport.

However, the manager believes they are not troubled following the 'chaotic' travelling arrangements

"We'll not disclose a lot about our preparations but we're ready for the game," Ociate told Goal.

"We'll train on Friday despite the inability to have time to train between Wednesday and Thursday. We will stick to our game plan and make sure we shock Kotoko and their supporters. We'll eliminate them.

"Nothing will disturb us ahead of the game. Not even the time we spent at the airport and in Accra trying to make it to Kumasi will make us not to be focused. I have a solid team and I trust in their capabilities ahead of the game," he added.

CARA, who are second on the Congolese league with nine points, will host Kotoko at the Stade Alphonse Massamba Debat on February 21.
