Kenyan Premier League champions Tusker FC are out to reach group stage of the 2017 Caf Champiuosn League competition.
The Brewers will be hosting Mauritian giants AS Port-Louis 2000 on Saturday at Kasarani in the tournament first leg encounter but their head coach George ‘Best’ Nsimbe has set his eyes past the preliminaries.
He is confident in their preparations and not worried about his squad ahead of the task. “I am happy with the club’s managers because they have made it possible for us to have residential training which is very important for any team taking part in such a major competition.
“I also thank God that I have no injuries to worry about apart from just a few small knocks here and there. My ambition is to get to the group stage and I know that is very possible because twice I have come very close to achieving that, he told the league’s official website.
Earlier on, Captain James Situma had also explained their preparedness promising fans a positive result from the match.
