Busy Mathare United makes a third signing of the season

Osonga will also fight for a place with his former teammate at Young Rovers Lennox Ogutu

A busy Mathare United have completed their third signing of the January transfer window.

Francis Kimanzi's side have roped in former Posta Rangers' centre-half Gilbert Osonga on a four-year deal to join the squad that struggled for the better part of last season.

The former Zetech University and Young Rovers defender joins a congested department at Mathare United that has captain George Owino and Andrew Juma.

Osonga will also fight for a place with his former teammate at Young Rovers Lennox Ogutu.

Mathare United have so far confirmed the signing of midfielder Francis Omondi from Modern Coast and goalkeeper Job Ochieng, who was promoted to the senior team from the youth side.
