Bruce broods on Adomah & Grealish injuries ahead of Fulham

Aston Villa boss Steve Bruce says in-form midfielder Albert Adomah may miss the trip to Craven Cottage to face Fulham on Saturday after picking up an injury.

The 28-year-old Ghanaian, who has been Villans best player so far this season with 13 goals, will have to pass a late fitness test alongside youngster Jack Grealish, according to the coach.

With Bruce's side in search of an eighth consecutive win in the Championship, the duo's absence could be a big blow since they have been directly involved in five out of the last nine goals scored by Villa.

"There's a doubt about [Albert] Adomah and there's a doubt about [Jack] Grealish unfortunately," Bruce told the club's website.

"We'll see how they both are later today and take a decision before the game tomorrow," he added.

Villa are currently sitting second with 59 points and seek to pick one of the two spots, which will grant an automatic promotion to the Premier League next season.
