Mathare United have received a boost as they prepare to face Sony Sugar in a Kenyan Premier League match this weekend.

The 'Slum Boys' resumed training on Friday following the slim but vital win over Kakamega Homeboyz on Wednesday.

According to the club's official website, coach Francis Kimanzi has been boosted by the return of Brian Nyakan, Martin Ongori, Derrick Onyango and Harrison Mwendwa, who have been out due to various injuries.

Goalkeeper Levis Opiyo is also back from suspension. However, Daniel Mwaura, Samuel Olwande, Alphonce Ndonye and Ahmed Ahmad are still on the recovery trail and are doubtful for the visit to Awendo.
