Blow for Tusker as midfielder is ruled out

Tusker have been handed a blow after their key midfielder Cercidy Okeyo picked an injury ahead of their league match against Zoo Kericho.

The player suffered an injury during a training session conducted on Monday and he might stay out a little bit longer as he undergoes medication.

This information has been confirmed by the club on their official facebook page. "Tusker will miss the services of midfielder Cercidy Okeyo for their Kenyan premier league away match trip to Kericho to face Zoo fc after he sustained a left thigh muscle tear in training yesterday as confirmed on the scan. He will be out for a while as he under goes treatment and rehab program."

Tusker face Zoo Kericho on Wednesday at Kericho Green Stadium as from 3:00pm.
