The Clever Boys are looking to beef up their striking department after parting ways with Ngele and Malajila, who were on loan at the club last season

Bidvest Wits coach Gavin Hunt is currently busy asssessing former Kaizer Chiefs striker Camaladine Abraw.

The Togo international is hoping to secure a deal with the reigning Premier Soccer League (PSL) champions after parting ways with Chiefs last month.

Jose Ferreira, the Wits chief executive officer, says Hunt will have the final say on whether the club signs the 26-year-old free agent or not.

"Of course, he is training with the team. But Hunt (Gavin) is the one who has the final say regarding the signing of players" Ferreira told Isolezwe.

"We offloaded Cuthbert (Malajila) and Mokgakolodi (Ngele), who returned to their parent club (Mamelodi Sundowns). We have Caf (Champions League) games next season," he continued.

"I do not know what will happen to Abraw, but Hunt and his technical team are still assessing him," he added.

The Clever Boys will be hoping to defend their PSL title next season.

"All the PSL teams will be eager to beat us as we will be the defending champions in the new season. So, we need to strengthen our team," Ferreira concluded.
