Having failed to find the net in each of their previous two games, Lucien Favre's league leaders look set for another tough test on Sunday evening

While they still top of the Bundesliga with a three-point advantage over their nearest rival, Borussia Dortmund are enduring something of a dip in form.

Three straight draws have seen Bayern Munich close the gap on Lucien Favre's side and Dortmund's next assignment looks a tough one too. 888Sport make the home side 5/6 (1.83) favourites to come out on top against Bayer Leverkusen.

The visitors will fancy their chances though and manager Peter Bosz may feel he has a point to prove at the Westfalenstadion. In December 2017 the 55-year-old was sacked by Dortmund after just after just six months in charge.

Bosz's men come into this game off the back of four straight wins in the Bundesliga with 13 goals scored in that run. They're the outsiders to continue that hot streak, priced at 14/5 (3.80) with the same quote available on another draw for the hosts.

Leverkusen were knocked out of the Europa League by virtue of an away goal on Thursday night, but their domestic form means opposing a home win looks an appealing option for punters.

It's been almost a month since Dortmund last won a game and a 3-0 defeat against Tottenham followed by a 0-0 draw with bottom club Nurnberg in midweek is unlikely to have boosted confidence levels in the camp.

With their advantage at the top of the table dwindling, Sunday’s clash may prove just as much of a mental test as it is a physical one.

Leverkusen got the better of Bayern Munich three games ago and their free-scoring attack could cause issues for a team that have kept two clean sheets in their last 10 competitive games.

A high-scoring game is expected with both teams to score available at just 11/25 (1.44) while four or more goals is a 5/4 (2.25) chance. There appears little value in backing those prices though, given how short they are.

The best value selection looks to be the 19/20 (1.95) about Leverkusen or Draw on the Double Chance market with 888Sport. Dortmund have been far from their best of late and the visitors have the confidence and quality to take something from this game.
