Betting: Get 5/1 on Manchester United to maintain momentum with big Southampton win

Manchester United have made a blistering start to the Premier League season and Southampton are unlikely to be able to stop them continuing their fine form in Saturday's clash at St Mary's.

Only Stoke City have prevented United from taking all three points in their five league games so far, while West Ham United, Swansea City and most recently Everton have all been on the end of heavy defeats dished out by Jose Mourinho's men.

The signing of Romelu Lukaku has been key to their flying start, with the forward scoring five goals in five league games since his arrival from Everton and providing more thrust in the Red Devils' front line, as well as offering a much-needed cutting edge in front of goal.

With the Saints struggling to get going in the early weeks of the campaign, a price boost from dabblebet up to 5/1 (6.0) on United to beat Southampton and over 3.5 goals, increased from 9/2 (5.50), looks too good to turn down.

United have a fine record away to Southampton, taking 14 points out of their last six trips to St Mary's, while the Saints have a serious problem in front of goal - despite the appointment of new coach Mauricio Pellegrino - having drawn blanks in eight of their last 10 home games.

It therefore looks like a fairly straightforward away victory for Mourinho's men, who will be looking to pile up yet another big score after a comprehensive 4-1 EFL Cup thumping of Burton Albion on Wednesday night at Old Trafford.

Lukaku has made such an immediate impact in the red shirt of United that his five Premier League goals is more than the four Southampton's entire squad have managed so far. And the Belgian's combination with Henrikh Mkhitaryan - they have teamed up for three Premier League goals, more than any other duo in the division - looks set to make it a grim day for the Saints on Saturday, even if Virgil van Dijk returns to their defence.

It is not just Lukaku who Southampton have to worry about though, as United are sharing out the goals much more than they did last season, when they grew to be overly reliant on Zlatan Ibrahimovic.

After only five games of the new campaign, eight different players have hit the net for the Red Devils - which is more than any other Premier League side - with the likes of Anthony Martial and Marcus Rashford providing top quality support for Lukaku.

It all points to a heavy defeat for the Saints this weekend and with dabblebet boosting United to beat Southampton with over 3.5 goals scored at St Mary's from 9/2 (5.50) up to 5/1 (6.0), this could be one of the best bets of the weekend.
