Barcelona vs Paris St-Germain Betting Special: Messi to lead from the front once more

If they are to produce the biggest comeback in the history of the Champions League, Barcelona will need plenty of goals at the Camp Nou on Tuesday evening.

Trailing 4-0 from the first leg, Luis Enrique's side know they must tread a fine line between taking the game to the visitors and not conceding.

Saturday saw Barca record a 5-0 win over Celta Vigo, a game in which Lionel Messi was in scintillating form. The Argentine scored the first and the last of the goals and his performance will surely be central to the Catalans' faint hope of making history. Paddy Power offer Messi at just 4/9 (1.44) to get on the scoresheet while he can be backed at 14/5 (3.80) to open the scoring, and that looks an appealing price.

When the Catalans have needed him over the years, Messi has responded and they will need him once more on Tuesday evening. Offered at exactly the same price to score and to score first is Luis Suarez, while Neymar who has scored in Barca's last two matches after a barren spell in La Liga, is available at 19/20 (1.95) to net anytime.

For the visitors meanwhile Edinson Cavani remains their main goal threat, with the Uruguyan putting in a memorable performance in the first leg, scoring the last of PSG's four goals. The striker is priced at 17/20 (1.85) to find the back of the net at the Camp Nou, something he has never previously managed. Indeed, the French side have only ever scored two goals at the Camp Nou, the last one by Zlatan Ibrahimovic and the other by Javier Pastore.

The Argentine comes next in the betting for the visitors at 4/1 (5.00) to score at anytime, the same price as his compatriot Angel Di Maria. The former Real Madrid wideman netted twice in the first leg, and knows all about scoring against Barcelona, having netted some big goals against the Blaugrana during his time in Spain.
