Les Dogues are on a good run of form and should have confidence in causing an upset in the Principality this weekend

Lille lock horns with AS Monaco at the Stade Louis II in the French Ligue 1 on Saturday evening.

There was no way Les Monegasques could catch PSG last season as they finished second, a distant 13 points behind the eventual champions.

They’ll be hoping to reignite the fire towards claiming the crown they last won in 2016/17 and started with a 3-1 victory at Nantes last weekend. It’s (1.50) with Bet365 to see them claim a home win.

Lille spent much of the previous Ligue 1 campaign battling relegation and ultimately escaped, finishing in 17th place.

Much of this was due to revived form which saw them amass wins which has spilled into the current campaign having beaten Rennes 3-1 at home last weekend.

An interesting fact is that they have won four of their last five Ligue 1 games and will be pumped up to record back to back opening wins for the first time since the 2006/07 season which is available at a lip-smacking price of (6.50) with the same betting firm.

Three of the last six Ligue 1 games between these two sides at the Stade Louis II has ended all square and it’s (4.20) with Bet365 to happen again.
