Chelsea manager Antonio Conte has emerged as the second-favourite to be the next Premier League manager to leave his post.
Rumours of potential unrest between the Italian and the Blues board, as well as reports that he wants to return as head coach of the Italy national team , have made him a 9/4 (3.25) shot with Betfair Sportsbook to be the next manager to leave his position.
Conte was out at 14/1 (15.0) just three weeks ago, with two defeats in his three games since then also likely to be a contributing factor.
Despite a 3-0 hammering by Bournemouth last week, the reigning champions can still move up to third with a win at Watford tonight. Anyone who wants to back the Londoners can take advantage of a mouth-watering quote as a new Betfair customer.
Chelsea to ease past Watford
The Blues are just 6/10 (1.60) to take all three points back to the Bridge tonight, but Betfair are offering a massive enhanced price of 25/1 (26.0) on Chelsea to bag a much-needed victory. £1 max bet. All winnings paid in free bets. T&Cs apply .
Prior to their loss against the Cherries, Conte’s men had won five of their last eight in the Premier League.
Watford, meanwhile, are winless in their last five and have been victorious just once in their last 12 league games. It is, therefore, no surprise that they are 11/2 (6.50) to claim the points here.
If that isn’t enough for you, the last time the Hornets won this fixture was way back in 1999, with Chelsea winning 10 of the 13 meetings since – including the reverse earlier this season 4-2.
Giroud to shine
New signing Olivier Giroud is in line to start for the Blues following his deadline day move from Arsenal, and he will be desperate to make his mark early against the side he only has one goal against in his career.
