Jurgen Klopp will be hoping to use his side’s unbeaten home run to get a positive result against the Blues

The big clash of the Premier League weekend will see Liverpool and Chelsea clash at Anfield on Sunday afternoon.

Following their 2-0 Champions League quarterfinal first leg win over FC Porto, the Reds will be looking to intensify their efforts towards securing the league title.

They are two points clear of Manchester City, who have a game in hand. Hence there is no room for error here, and they are (1.65) with BetKing to claim a massive win.

The Blues recorded a narrow 1-0 win at Slavia Prague on Thursday night and while winning the Europa League remains a possibility which will give them a chance to play in the Champions League next season, there is equally need to finish in the top four to ease those nerves.

Maurizio Sarri’s men are in third place but have played a game more than top four rivals Tottenham, Arsenal and Manchester United. Victory for them on Merseyside is quoted at odds of (5.25) with the same bet firm.

Four of the last eight competitive meetings between these rivals has ended all square. Just like it happened in the reverse fixture at Stamford Bridge, it’s (4.00) to repeat itself again at Anfield this time.

Jurgen Klopp’s side might have lost just once this season which was against City, but they are unbeaten in their last 37 Premier League games at home, with Chelsea last beating them at Anfield in May 2012.

The Reds have the edge here even if they haven’t beaten the Blues on their turf in their previous six meetings, and are priced at (1.36) with BetKing, to win either half.
