Bet365 Preview: Juventus – Barcelona: Back both teams not to score

The Old Lady suffered defeat last time out in Catalonia and will look to set the record straight on Wednesday night

The Allianz Stadium will be the venue as 2015 Uefa Champions League finalists Juventus and Barcelona lock horns once again in Group D.

The Bianconeri fell to a heavy 3-0 defeat when both sides met in the group opener back in September and have not been convincing so far. A 1-1 draw away to Sporting Lisbon last time out  means this is a must win game at odds of (3.00) with Bet365 if they are to make it to the last 16 of the competition.

The Blaugrana were held to a goalless draw when they travelled to Olympiakos on matchday five. The result was enough to see them make it to the next round but Ernesto Valverde’s men will be keen on sealing top spot and can do that with victory in Turin at (2.50).

A draw at the end of 90 minutes is available at odds of (3.40) with the same firm.

Juventus haven’t lost a home fixture in the Champions League group phase since December 2009 while Barcelona have only lost once on the road in their last 10 group matches. The Turin outfit to avoid defeat is quoted at (1.55) while it’s (1.40) for the Catalans.

The last three meetings between these giants hasn’t seen both sides score. Going for a ‘NO’ is priced at (2.05).

Home advantage has also counted on two occasions so it’s Juve to win to nil at a pricy (5.00).

Mario Mandzukic has scored in his last three Champions League home games which is his best run in the competition. The Croatian is tipped to score anytime at odds of (2.87) with Bet365.
