Luis Enrique's final match in charge of Barcelona sees the side try to salvage something from their season by retaining the Copa del Rey.
Having finished the league season three points behind champions Real Madrid and been knocked out of the Champions League in the quarter finals, the domestic cup competition is Barca's last chance for silverware and failing to win on Saturday would be disasterous.
Not only would there be disappointment at failing to win a trophy this season, but to lose to a side as unfashionable and unfancied as Alaves would be of great embarassment to the Catalans.
There is therefore certainly pressure on the Blaugrana heading into Saturday's final, while there is none at all on their opponents. In their first season back in the top flight after a 10-year absence, Mauricio Pellegrino's side have wildly overachieved finishing the league campaign in ninth place and reaching the first Copa del Rey final in their history.
Their most memorable moment of the season came back in September at the Camp Nou when Alaves inflicted on Barcelona their only home league defeat of the season with a 2-1 win. Despite that result, bet365 make the Basques rank outsiders to pull off another shock, pricing Alaves at 14/1 (15.00) while Barca can be backed at 1/6 (1.16) and the draw in 90 minutes is offered at 6/1 (7.00).
Naturally, Alaves know that it will take a heroic performance from them to prevent a victory for Barca, although the Basques have been pretty solid defensively this season. Pellegrino's men finished the season with the fifth meanest defence in the Primera Division, conceding only two more goals across the course of the campaign than Real Madrid.
That is not to say that they will be able to keep Barca at bay, yet they could frustrate the Catalans for at least the opening half an hour. The price of 5/6 (1.83) for the Blaugrana not to score before the 27th minute should appeal, with Alaves likely to be set up to frustrate their more illustrious opponents.
Furthermore, this bet paid out in both of the league meetings between the sides this season, and looks a decent option for the game.
Other selections to consider could be backing Barcelona to win and under 3.5 goals at 21/20 (2.05) and Barcelona to win to nil at 8/13 (1.61) with Alaves having one of the worst goalscoring records in the Spanish top flight this season.
