Banyana Banyana international Thembi Kgatlana has finally received her US work permit and is line to make her debut for National Women's League side Houston Dash.
Whilst fellow South African's Linda Motlhalo and Janine van Wyk both featured for Vera Pauw's side in the two opening matches of the season, Kgatlana has been back in the country promoting the second edition of her annual tournament, the Thembi Kgatlana Tournament, while waiting for her work permit.
The 21-year-old has since received her papers, and is now eligible to play and is in contention to make her debut for Dash when they travel to Chicago Red Stars for their third outing of the season on Saturday.
Kgatlana joined the Texas side from Western Cape Sasol League side University of Western Cape Ladies in the offseason.
She's now looking forward to making her debut (eligible for selection) @NWSL having sorted all the relevant paperwork
