Bafana Bafana drop to 64th in Fifa World Rankings

Bafana Bafana have dropped two places in the latest Fifa rankings to 64th in the world.

The South Africans had hoped to climb up the ladder following their win over their 3-1 win over Guinea-Bissau as well as their goalless draw against Angola during the international week.

However, the two results didn't have any significant impact in the rankings, and Bafana will have to do much better than that to improve their position.

Bafana recently set a new 17-match unbeaten record, but that was also not enough for them to break into the top 60.

Despite their decline in world rankings, Bafana moved one place up on the continent to 12th, and they will be looking to break into the top 10 in Africa in the coming months.

Egypt remain the number one ranked team on the African continent, followed by Senegal, Cameroon and Burkina Faso.
