Australia host Honduras at ANZ Stadium in Sydney on Wednesday in the second leg of their World Cup Intercontinental Qualification play-off tie.
Ange Postecoglou's side took a 0-0 draw from Estadio Olimpico Metropolitano on Friday and are now favourites to book their place in Russia next year.
An impressive performance from the Socceroos in San Pedro Sula left supporters encouraged by their chances of qualification but equally frustrated by missed opportunities to win the game.
It's a winner takes all situation on Wednesday, with Australia boasting home advantage.

Tim Cahill was the hero against Syria, scoring both goals in the Socceroos' dramatic win, but missed the first leg of the play-off game with an ankle injury.
Cahill travelled to San Pedro Sula with his team-mates, though, and Postecoglou will be hopeful the 37-year-old will recover in time for the second leg of the tie.
Mark Milligan and Mathew Leckie return to the fold following suspensions which kept them out of the first leg, with both likely to return to the starting XI.

BETTING & MATCH ODDS
The hosts are heavy favourites to book their place in the World Cup finals next year, with dabblebet placing Australia at 8/15, and Honduras at 6/1.
Tom Juric could have wrapped up proceedings during the first leg of the tie, but was unable to finish his one-on-one opportunity and also steered his free header wide of the target.
There were plenty of promising performances throughout the team, though, with Jedinak and Luongo controlling the game in the central areas of the pitch.
Australia's home record should instill faith in supporters - the Socceroos have registered nine wins from their last 10 games at ANZ.
But Postecoglou's side will have to overcome their issues in front of goal in order to secure their place in Russia as Honduras are unlikely to draw another blank.
