Atletico Madrid’s Thomas Partey has revealed the secret to his late minute goal against Deportivo La Coruna in Saturday’s Spanish Primera Division outing.

The Ghana international registered his fourth goal of the season in his 12th appearance to help Atleti nick their fourth away win in the campaign.

After both sides failed to find the back of the net in 90 minutes the former Almería player broke the deadlock with his screamer as the 2014 league champions racked in the maximum points.

And the midfielder has taken to the social media to disclose the secret behind his effort on this occasion.

“Believe,” Partey wrote on Instagram after the match.

The victory ensures that Atletico climb to the third spot on the log while waiting for the outcome of Real Madrid against Las Palmas on Sunday which will decide their true position on the log having garnered 23 points from 11 games.
