Arsenal vs Man City team news: Ramsey starts as Sterling misses out through injury

Arsenal midfielder Aaron Ramsey has been passed fit for the Carabao Cup final but Raheem Sterling misses out through injury for Manchester City.

Ramsey, 27, has been named in the startling line-up for the Gunners but Sterling, 23, has not been included in City's squad due to a hamstring problem.

Gabriel Jesus has been named amongst the substitutes for Pep Guardiola's side alongside Ederson with Claudio Bravo starting in goal.

David Ospina starts between the sticks for Arsenal, who are lining up in a back three for the Wembley showpiece, while Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang features up top for the Gunners.

Kevin De Bruyne is expected to feature from the right-hand side for City due to Sterling's absence, while Danilo gets the nod at left-back ahead of Oleksandr Zinchenko.

Arsenal, on the other hand, have named an experienced bench featuring the likes of Petr Cech and Per Mertesacker.

It's the first time that Jack Wilshere and Ramsey will play together for 154 competitive Arsenal games.
