Anthony Ujah scores in Liaoning Hongyun's win

Anthony Ujah was on target in Liaoning Hongyun’s 2-1 victory over Chongqing Lifan in a Chinese Super League encounter on Saturday.

Ujah opened the scoring in the eighth minute but saw his side pegged back by a Jing Din strike a minute before the hour mark.

But with 19 minutes to the end of the duel, James Chamanga converted from the spot to hand the Northeast Tigers their second win of the season.

The goal was the former Cologne striker’s second of the season in six appearances for Ma Lin’s side who recorded their second victory of the campaign.

Liaoning Hongyun are ninth in the Chinese topflight log after garnering ten points from nine games. And they face Hebei CFCF in their next league encounter on May 20.
