Akwa United won't crumble against Lobi Stars, says Michael Ibe

The forward says his side is focused on claiming maximum points against the Pride of Benue on Wednesday

Akwa United FC 's Michael Ibe says his side will not fall but secure an away victory against Lobi Stars  at the Aper Aku Stadium.

Following the Promise Keepers' 1-1 draw against Ifeanyi Ubah , the former Abia Warriors forward insists securing maximum points top their agenda in Markudi.

"We are here (in Makurdi) to fight for the maximum points," Ibe told Goal .

"Lobi Stars are a good side but we know why we are here and our job is to secure the victory. We can't afford to return home empty handed.

"My teammates and I have been discussing the game after we drew our last game against FC IfeanyiUbah at home.

"We believe the only way to redeem ourselves is to get a result against Lobi Stars."
