Agent hints at English interest in Brozovic: They could pay his €50m release clause!

Marcelo Brozovic is open to leaving Inter for the Premier League this summer, his agent says, but any potential suitors would have to activate his release clause.

The Croatia midfielder joined Inter from Dinamo Zagreb in January 2015 in an initial loan deal from Dinamo Zagreb and has another three years left on his contract.

After over 100 appearances for the Serie A side, the 25-year-old has been linked to teams like Arsenal, Atletico Madrid, Sevilla and AC Milan over the summer.

Although his agent believes the versatile midfielder, who has been a key player for Croatia in their World Cup campaign, is happy at San Siro, he pointed out that an offer of €50 million (£44m/$58m) would force Inter to sell and could convince him to go.

"Marcelo feels good at Inter, he is happy and he could sign new, better deal soon," Miroslav Bicanic told Sportske novosti.

"But it is always possible that some English or other club pays the €50m buy-out clause.

"No rush, he is happy in Inter, we are both going on holiday after the World Cup and if someone wants us, they can always find us."

Brozovic came close to leaving Inter for Serie A champions Juventus last summer, but the clubs failed to reach an agreement.

Bicanic suggested last month that the ex-Lokomotiv Zagreb man could end up on the move amid growing interest, saying: "I can confirm that several great clubs follow Marcelo and they are informed, but I cannot name them".
