AFC Leopards to play KPL side in friendly

Ingwe will play their sixth friendly match on Saturday

AFC Leopards will play against Posta Rangers in a friendly match scheduled for Saturday at Machakos Stadium as from 3:00pm.

It will be the sixth match for the Big Cats coming two days after they hammered National Super League side Wazito FC on Wednesday at Camp Toyoyo.

All their build-up matches have been free but for this one, fans will part themselves with Sh100 each to watch the proceedings.

Coach Stewart Hall is working on the team’s chemistry as they wait for Kenyan Premier League kick-off which had been set for the same day before Football Kenya Federation suspended the fixtures.

On the other hand, Posta Rangers, under the tutelage of Coach Sammy ‘Pamzo’ Omollo, are also trying to stay fit ahead of the season. They suffered a 2-1 defeat at the hands of Wazito FC on the first day of February at Nairobi City Stadium in a similar match.

Elsewhere, former AFC Leopards assistant coach Nicholas Muyoti has been officially confirmed at Thika United in a similar position. His immediate former working station was at Zetech University and he now rejoins the Brookside sponsored outfit where he was in 2007 and 2008 as a skipper (player).
