AFC Leopards striker Ezekiel Odera will be available for selection when they face Gor Mahia on Sunday.

Odera limped off during their 0-0 draw against Bandari last weekend but has resumed training with the rest of the squad and will be in contention to face his former club.

Ingwe coach Rodolfo Zapata is confident that they will end Gor Mahia'sunbeaten run in the league on Sunday. K’Ogalo are top of the 18-team table on 49 points and are still unbeaten after 19 matches this season.

The Kenyan champions will face Ingwe on Sunday, just days after returning from Cecafa Kagame Cup where they finished third after beating JKU 2-0 and also have a Caf Confederation Cup fixture against Yanga of Tanzania on Wednesday.

Coach Zapata is adamant that Ingwe will get a good result on Sunday. “A derby is always a tricky fixture but we are ready to get maximum points. Gor Mahia is a good team but we are also good. We have new players in the squad, who have started to gel and it will be a very good match.

“I want our fans to rally behind the team because we need their support. Playing at home will give us the much needed push. We have a good chance to get a win on Sunday.”

AFC Leopards battled to a 0-0 draw against Bandari in their last league match.
