Knowing the task at hand, head coach Robert Matano has urged Kenyans to put aside their differences and turn out in large numbers to support their own.

“This is not about a club, it is about Kenya, we are representing the nation and fans, regardless of the team you are supporting locally, should turn out and support us.

“We need their boost to help us beat our opponents; we all know the importance of this competition,” Matano told Goal on Sunday.

Ingwe rivals Gor Mahia downed Leones Vegetarianos of Equatorial Guinea 2-0 in the first leg of Caf Champions League at Machakos Stadium on Saturday.
