AFC Leopards new catch happy with AllStars chance

The Mathare United defender is optimistic that he will make it to the final cut which will play Hull City in February

New AFC Leopards defender Robinson Kamura feels privileged to be in the SportPesa AllStars camp at Kasarani set to play English Premier League side Hull City next month.

The former Mathare United defender was in a scintillating form for the ‘Slum Boys’ last season, scoring vital goals for the Francis Kimanzi led side but joined Ingwe in 2017. He says he will definitely give his best and hope for the best.

"First, I am privileged to be in this team, it has amazing players and their thirst is evident. I definitely want to be in the last 18-man squad, which will travel to England, but I have to show that I deserve it since the competition is high.

"I want to show my potential and ability to all those who will be watching us play but it is a rear opportunity which would take with both hands," he told Goal.

Kamura signed a three-year contract with AFC Leopards.
