AFC Leopards legend appeals for high turnout at Bukhungu

AFC Leopards are yet to lose a continental match at Bukhungu Stadium

AFC Leopards legend Joseph (JJ) Masiga has called upon Ingwe fans to turn up in large numbers for the continental match against Fosa Juniors.

AFC Leopards will host the Madagascan side in a Caf Confederation Cup at Bukhungu Stadium on Sunday.

Masiga took to Twitter to reach out to Ingwe adherents with a passionate appeal to show love to the club by turning up in multitudes at the same stadium where he scored twice against Egyptian side Al Ahly in 1987 Confederation Cup.

“Let’s go to Bukhungu, the lads need us,” Masiga tweeted.

Thirty-one years down the line, Masiga, now a Dentist, will return to a newly refurbished Bukhungu, this time, as a fan to cheer Ingwe in a continental duel with higher expectations of seeing the team make it past the preliminary round.
