AFC Leopards keep off Gor Mahia interest on star with prize tag

AFC Leopards have slapped a Sh 10 million price on the want-away defender, Dennis Sikhayi.

Sikhayi is understood to have handed in a transfer request to leave the club, but there are fears at the Den that their key man could cross over to Gor Mahia.

Leopards have placed a Sh10 million price tag on the player they brought to the Den on a one million price from Western Stima on atwo-year deal last season.

“He’s not going anywhere. He has one year remaining on his contract and as thing stand, we have forwarded his name to Caf as part of our team that will play in the Confederation Cup,” anonymous club official was quoted by Nairobi News.

“The only way we can release him is if he pays us Sh10 million.”
