AFC Leopards and Ulinzi Stars shared spoils at Afraha Stadium on Saturday

AFC Leopards registered a 0-0 draw against Ulinzi Stars in a friendly match played on Saturday at Afraha stadium, Nakuru.

Ingwe were looking forward to winning ahead of the tie after losing twice in their recent friendly matches but Ulinzi Stars kept them at bay throughout the game. First-half was a tough affair forcing Coach Stewart Hall to introduce their lethal youngster Marcellus Ingotsi at the start of second half but his inclusion never bore fruit .

The battle continued but attempts from both striking ends were thwarted by defenders in a game which almost turned physical towards the 'Full-time' whistle. Defender Hassan Mohammed was shown his matching orders for a second bookable offense in the 87th minute.

It is just one week before a replica of the match is played in the 2017 Kenyan Premier League's opening clash set for Saturday March 11, according to fixtures released by KPL on Friday.
