AFC Leopards confirms new dates for Confed Cup tie

Fosa Juniors are expected to arrive in the country on February 8

AFC Leopards' Caf Confederation Cup match with Madagascar’s opponents, Fosa Juniors has been pushed back.

The first round of the preliminary match, that was set for February 10, will now kick off on February 11 at Bukhungu Stadium in Kakamega County.

The changes were arrived at to accommodate TV scheduling of the tie, that was set to take place on the same day that Gor Mahia will be hosting Leones Vegetarianos of Equatorial Guinea in the Caf Champions League.

“We apologize to our fans and advice them to adjust accordingly as this was beyond our control,” AFC Leopards Secretary, Oscar Igaida was quoted by the Daily Nation.

Fosa Juniors are expected to arrive in the country on February 8.

AFC Leopards will warm up for the continental assignment with a league match against Posta Rangers on Saturday and another friendly match against Sudanese side, Al Hilal on Sunday.
