AFC Champions League 2018: Toyota Player of the Week - Suwon Bluewings' Dejan Damjanovic

South Korean outfit Suwon Bluewings almost reached the final of the AFC Champions League but were beaten by Kashima Antlers after a thrilling 6-5 aggregate result.

After a 3-2 loss in the first leg, Damjanovic was the star of the show as Suwon went 3-1 up in the second leg. But Kashima got two late goals and pipped Suwon at the finishing line. Damjanovic scored a goal and went joint-top of the all-time AFC Champions League scoring charts with his 37th continental goal.

Suwon hit back in stunning fashion in the second half, scoring three goals in a span of eight minutes. Im Sang-Hyeob tucked home from close-range in the 52nd before Jo Sung-Jin converted a header. Dejan Damjanovic broke in behind the Kashima defence to make it 3-1 on the night and 5-4 on aggregate.
