Fancy a crack at managing Belgium’s national team? The job description for the head coach’s role, which has been revealed on their official website, tells you exactly what they're looking for.

Belgium are looking for a new head coach after sacking Marc Wilmots following the nation’s surprise exit at the hands of Wales at Euro 2016.

Louis van Gaal has been linked with the role but is the former Manchester United boss the right man for the job?

Belgium’s Football Association state that they require a man who has “experience and results in the currently fast changing world of football” and a “proven record in transmitting tactical and strategical knowledge to top level players”.

Given the squad boasts like likes of Eden Hazard, Kevin De Bruyne and Romelu Lukaku, the job requirement predictably expects candidates to “be able to work with experts in modern high level football”.

And given his track record of bringing youth players through as well, Van Gaal’s chances may also be improved as Belgium’s FA demand that “ruling generation management” is a key part of the job.

So what are you waiting for? The closing date for applications is July 31.
