Man Utd fan goes to WRONG stadium for West Ham clash

The Red Devils were taking on the Hammers at Upton Park but one fan got the wrong end of the stick and headed to Old Trafford expecting to see an FA Cup quarter-final replay

Manchester United fans have had a rough few years, with both David Moyes and Louis van Gaal failing to live up to the standards set by Sir Alex Ferguson.

But Wednesday night's win over West Ham gave the Old Trafford faithful something to cheer about, as the club reached the FA Cup semi-final at Wembley, where they will take on Everton.
Anticipation was understandably building before the match but one United fan got a little carried away, heading to the WRONG stadium, as he thought the replay was being played at Old Trafford instead of Upton Park.

The fan, who goes by the name George Diy on Twitter, was quickly alerted to his massive error after tweeting a picture saying: "On my way to Old Trafford. Let's hope we beat West Ham." Oh, George.
Extra Time would like to say 'we've all been there' but we really, really haven't. Plus, this is likely a joke. We hope.
