The Barcelona striker was speaking in a quick-fire Q&A whilst on international duty with Uruguay and when asked to name his favourite coaches, he replied: “Martin Lasarte and Oscar Tabarez”.
Under Lasarte, Suarez won the Uruguayan Primera División with Nacional in 2006, scoring 10 goals in 27 appearances.
Meanwhile, Tabarez was the man who gave Suarez his senior debut for Uruguay in 2007 and guided the national team to success in the Copa America four years later.
