Barcelona youngster Isaac Cuenca signs contract extension

The 20-year-old will stay at Camp Nou until 2015, and has a buy-out clause of €20 million (£16.6m)
Barcelona youngster Isaac Cuenca has signed a contract extension that will keep him at the club until June 2015, and will become a full member of the first team.

The 20-year-old forward has made inroads into the Camp Nou first team this term, making 12 appearances for Pep Guardiola's side so far and scoring four goals in the process.

Cuenca affirmed that he was delighted with his breakthrough season, as well as the prospect of continuing to represent his childhood club.

"It's a dream I've had since childhood, as it is for any child. It has come true, and I'm very happy with everything that has happened this year," Cuenca told the club's official website.

The Catalonia native has a buy-out clause of €20 million (£16.6m).
