Asamoah sets sights on Juventus clean sweep

The Ghana international is hopeful that the Serie A champions can add European glory to their domestic triumph after bolstering their squad with the likes of Carlos Tevez
Juventus midfielder Kwadwo Asamoah is determined to fight for a domestic and European clean sweep of trophies in the coming season.

The Bianconeri successfully defended their Serie A crown last term and reached the quarter-finals of the Champions League but the 24-year-old is confident that they can add further titles to the Scudetto in 2013-14.

"We are working hard in order to do well and get as far as possible in Serie A and in the Champions League," Asamoah told reporters.

"Not to mention the Super Cup [against Lazio on August 18], which will be our first trophy to win."

Antonio Conte's side have alredy strengthened their squad with the signings of Carlos Tevez, Angelo Ogbonna and Fernando Llorente this summer and the Ghana international feels that such investment will pay dividends come the business end of the season.

"We have three new strong and experienced companions and, if we work well together, never giving up, we can achieve our goals," he added.
