The 37-year-old, who scored on his final Serie A appearance for the Old Lady, admitted he has yet to make a decision regarding where he will go next.
"I have not chosen my path yet, but it will be a good option for me and my family," he told reporters at an ADP10 clothing event.
"I am looking for a stimulating opportunity. The choice of the league is something that is not important.
"This is not about playing in the Champions League or playing in a second-class league, but about looking for an ideal situation or opportunities that are more stimulating.
"But obviously it will not be in Italy with another squad, that is something that goes against my principles. I will surely play abroad."
Del Piero then shared his feelings on ending his Juventus career with the Scudetto - his sixth during his time at the club.
"I am living among the clouds now," he added. "I still do not understand all that has happened, but I know that I have always given 100 per cent in everything I have done.
"I will never forget when I said goodbye to this club. I will always be thankful to the fans."
Del Piero also trusts that his former side are in safe hands, and will continue their recent success.
"From executives to players, I trust all of them."
