The agent of Zlatan Ibrahimovic has tried to reassure AC Milan fans that the striker will not be leaving the Serie A champions during the winter transfer window.
The 30-year-old said he was growing tired of football last week, which led to speculation he could hang up his boots.
On Thursday, Milan president Adriano Galliani claimed there were no issues surrounding either Ibrahimovic or Antonio Cassano who also said he was thinking about retirement.
Agent Mino Raiola has now moved to cool any remaining doubts over the player's future and believes rumours of early retirement for his client are pure fabrication.
"There is no problem. This story [of Ibrahimovic retiring] is invented. Zlatan is strong and independent and he could even quit tomorrow, but it is not like this," Raiola told Sky Sport Italia.
"I think the Milan fans should not be worried and Galliani should not be worried either."
