Fifa agent Peppino Tirri says the transfer of Inter striker Samuel Eto'o to Anzhi Makhachkala should be wrapped up on Tuesday morning.
The two clubs held fresh talks on Monday afternoon with regards to a proposed €30 million [£26.2m] move for the Cameroon international to the Russian side.
And Tirri, who is handling negotiations between Inter and Anzhi, revealed a deal is imminent after leaving the Italian club's headquarters on Monday.
"Only details are left, we should complete [the transfer] tomorrow [Tuesday] morning," he is quoted by Calciomercato as saying.
The striker's agent, Claudio Vigorelli, added that the transfer is only pending the arrivals of Anzhi marketing consultant, German Tkachenko, and his staff, which should happen on Monday evening or Tuesday morning.
"The deal is not yet closed; in order to do so we are waiting for the Russians to arrive," Vigorelli told Gazzetta Dello Sport.
